How Much Is $100,000?
Our fiscal year ended
June 30th and it was a very challenging year for our overall ministry
(church,
daycare and school) leaving our combined ministry with under $100,000.
While $100,000 may seem like a lot of money it is actually right at
what our payroll is for our entire ministry (church, daycare
and school)
which occurs every two weeks. As a result, money
is currently very tight. The Elder Board has put
together a letter informing the church of our current financial
condition and outlining steps we are taking as a result. Last
Sunday this letter was made available (one per family). If
you did not get your copy, we ask that you stop by and pick up a
copy of this letter at the Guest Services Window in the lobby this
Sunday
so that you can pray more specifically for the finances of our
ministry.

July Giving Report
The first month of
the new fiscal year, July, saw $174,062 come into the
General fund which is nearly 5% behind our budgeted need. We
do praise the Lord that during the month of July $10,259 (nearly double the amount
from last year) also came in for our Christmas
in July giving project that will be used as a financial
Christmas gift for our missioanries that we
support. In July only $75.00 came in toward
our Mortgage Reduction which is used to pay off our
mortgage early. Thank you for your faithfulness in giving to
our ministry.

Heidi Begins
This Sunday Heidi
Christner
begins as our new Director of Children's Ministry here at Grace
Church. We are excited about Heidi and her family being
part of our church and ministry. Please continue to pray
for them as they still need to sell their home in Indiana and
her husband still needs to find work here in Lancaster County.

Grace Goes To Haiti
Seven men from Lititz
Grace Church will soon be going to Las Cahobas, Haiti. The purpose
for making the trip is to help brothers and sister in the Lord
recover from the earthquake that destroyed their village. The
primary mission will be to rebuild their local church building which
also serves as the local school and village communal center. The team
members will be ministering as well with five men from the
Palmyra Grace Brethren Church. For more on this story go to my blog
posting for July 28th (www.folkslisten.blogspot.com).
